Landon and I technically met through church in 2016, but we didn't really know each other. It wasn't until fall of 2020 that we even began to be friends. I was moving apartments and I needed a couch to be picked up from Louisville and brought back to Lexington. Landon was one of the only people I knew with a truck to be able to help me with this. This favor Landon did for me turned into us spending the whole day together. Then after a couple of weeks our friend Nia initiated a weekly hang out for the three of us. During these few weeks of all of us hanging out, we really got to know each other. It wasn't until after the new year, though, that I finally admitted that I liked him. Then, a couple months later, we began dating. We would spend time together playing uno through the House Party App and bonded most through watching tv shows together. He would always tag along for my spur of the moment adventures. It was during one of these adventures that I figured out that I had fallen in love with this pasty white man and I knew that I could spend the rest of my life with him. I had a particularly stressful week and hadn't left my apartment for a couple of days. Landon and I had plans to hang out and I last minute decided that we would go to a couple Goodwills. After going to the last one, we went to a park and just spent some time together. It was during this time that I realized that I hadn't once thought about any of the stressors in my life at that time. That with him everything was completely calm. A few months later he proposed to me at the Kentucky Horse Park after we saw the Southern Lights. Although Landon would not have been the man I picked for myself all those years ago when we first met, I couldn't be happier to be marrying this pasty white man.

Alana and I have known each other for a few years but were never too close. Until, she asked me for helping moving some furniture from Louisville to her new apartment. I did help her and it turned into us hanging out the rest of that day. We started to become friends and hanging out more often. During Pizza week a few months later, I realized I liked her. After about 6 more months I asked her to be my girlfriend, she makes fun of me for the way it happened to this day. We have been together since March 22nd 2021. Since then we have had a great time together. From us riding in her mustang to her "guiding" me into saying I love you. I look forward to spending our lives together.
