4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join the wedding party for a 2-hour guided Rum Safari Tour on an open air safari truck exploring 105-acres of the beautiful Kilohana Plantation! Here we will sip on Koloa Rum, enjoy a signature Mai Tai and also have a fresh cocktail made with fruits and herbs grown on the plantation. Must be 21+. Limited seats available, so once they are full, they are full! All others can join in at the Welcome Dinner from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
At the last stop of the Rum Safari, we will be lingering longer for a special Welcome Dinner hosted by the Alvarez Ohana. This lovely pavilion known as the “Lo’i Lana’i” or “Taro Patch Porch” is literally built above the water of a taro patch! It’s simply gorgeous. Anyone not attending the Rum Safari can most definitely still attend this special Welcome Dinner. A van will pick up dinner guests from the Kilohana Plantation parking lot at 5:15pm and drive them to the Lo’i Lana’i to join the others. Live music will be provided by a family friend, someone who has known Isaiah since he was a child. A cash bar serving maitais will be available for $10 each. This should be a perfect opportunity to relax, eat some delicious local food, and get to know each other a little better before the wedding on Saturday. Please RSVP below.
