Woodstock, NY is a 20 minute drive from Kingston. It's a cute town with great restaurants and shops and is perfect for a coffee and a stroll.
The Stockade District (or Uptown) is the historic part of Kingston. There is New York state history on every corner. Some of our favorite spots include Rough Draft (bookstore/cafe/bar) and their sister cafe, Kingston Bread. There are many shops to shpatzir (Yiddish for window shop), and we recommend stopping by the Farmer's Market!
Rhinebeck, NY is a 15 minute drive across the hudson river from Kingston. You may have already guessed it, but Rhinebeck is an adorable village with restaurants, cafes, and shops. There are several spas in Rhinebeck if you want to indulge in pre-wedding relaxation. Also, Rhinebeck has great walking / hiking (with river views!), including Poet's Walk Park and Burger Hill.
