Ben and Alana met the old fashion way... online dating. Bumble (not a sponsor). Alana forgot all of her safety skills and got in a strangers car and drove 30 miles to his home. And the rest was history. He showed her his basement... but did not murder her. Much to Ben's chagrin.. she wanted to sit on the floor. They played Uno on the floor until his back hurt a little too much. Then he got up to make them some dinner. All jokes aside, they took the chance to get to know one another during a global pandemic and it worked out better than they could have hoped for.

Ben coordinated with his sister to plan the special night. Sarah has 4 kids and after she took Alana to get her nails done, she posed Ben, Alana, and the 4 kids for a quick family photo. She asked Alana to hold her youngest Cole while Ben got down on one knee. Cole's onsie said "will you be our Auntie?" which immediately made Alana cry, then when Ben asked her to marry him she cried even more.
