What 's the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We're going for cocktail attire. April may be cold or warm in Virginia so dress appropriately. Please do wear suits, midi or floor-length dresses, jumpsuits, and blazers. Please do NOT wear jeans, sneakers, hats, or t-shirts. Feel free to wear sequins, patterns, and bright colors. Please DO NOT wear white or patterns that are mostly white. Is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather-permitting. The cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor, weather permitting. The reception will be in a covered climate-controlled tent, rain or shine.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The earliest that guests can begin arriving is 2:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm.

Can I take pictures during your ceremony?

Answer

Respectfully, please do not take your own pictures during our ceremony. We will have numerous announcements about this. We want to see our loved ones' faces in our photos and when we're going down and up the aisle, and we will have professional photography. So again please, no phones, cameras, iPads, etc. After the ceremony, please do take as many photos and videos as you want for the rest of the event!

Can I bring a date or someone not listed on my invitation?

Answer

No - invitations are specific to the individuals or couples listed on the envelope as this is a named-guest event. We will not accommodate additional guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No - to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be alcohol served beginning at cocktail hour through the reception. Please drink responsibly, use common sense, and have a plan to get home safely!

What's the transportation situation? How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

The venue is right outside of downtown Leesburg by Loudoun County High School. Please be a responsible adult and have a game plan in advance for getting there and going home! If you know you will be drinking, use your best judgement by carpooling or using a rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) when planning your return home. For those planning on using a rideshare option for their return home, please let the bride or groom know.

Is there parking for the event?

Answer

Yes, there is onsite parking available. The road to get to the venue is single-lane and quite narrow so just mentally prepare yourself for that.

Need the restroom or just a break from the excitement?

Answer

The Manor will remain open all night if you’d like to take a quiet break in one of the gorgeous rooms. There is no restroom at the tent so please go to the Manor for your restroom needs.

I have a food allergy, what should I know?

Answer

We will do our best to accommodate; however, there will be a variety of options available. Please use common sense and exercise caution if you have a severe allergy.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will officially be over at 10pm. If you have an early bed time, we get it - but otherwise, join us at Taco Bell to continue the good vibes :)

Should I take the next day off from work?

Answer

Our big day is a great excuse to take a recovery day off from work. If you have the means, take Monday off!
