Alana was reassigned to serve her mission in Hawaii where she had met Jordan's best friend, who eventually had set them up. An arranged marriage I guess you could call it. lol Now here they are, 2 1/2 years later, counting down the days until they are finally sealed for time & all eternity. Needless to say, their relationship was surely crafted by divine design, as shown by the trail of breadcrumbs left throughout each other’s lives that eventually led them to one another. Particularly, both Jordan and Alana's parents attended college together at BYU-H, so they were already quite familiar with one another before their children’s relationship. In fact, Alana's dad and Jordan's Uncle Tony were pretty close in college as they worked together and played on the University’s rugby team together. Adding to the twists of fate, before the pandemic, Alana was serving her mission in Tonga on a very tiny island called ‘Eua. Coincidentally, this was the same island that Jordan’s dad grew up on, so Alana knew a lot of Jordan's family before she even knew who he was. In fact, she lived right across the street from his Aunt and Uncle, who she would visit often. Little did they know their paths would eventually cross and lead them to where they are now, where in just a couple months they will officially tie the knot.
