We Are Engaged!

Cody was living in Lowell, MA while Alaina was settled closer to Boston in Malden. For those familiar with Boston traffic, this 25-mile gap basically qualified as a long-distance relationship. Logically, the two decided to meet halfway at a restaurant in Burlington, MA. One highlight of the date was when Cody refused to believe Alaina had a twin brother and then revealed that he himself had a twin sister. Though it took hours to reconcile the truth, they both agreed it was quite the coincidence! While sparring back and forth with mutual twin experiences kept spirits high, heated conversation about how Game of Thrones ended almost broke the deal. Luckily, the overall bliss of the first date brought Cody and Alaina together again and again. The rest is history! … For the record, one of the two still believes Game of Thrones had a terrible ending.

We are eloping in our hometown of Lowell, MA on April 1st, 2025. Please use the "FAQs" portion of this website to get more details on how to celebrate with us. We would love to see you before or after eloping, so please reach out. Sticking with the nontraditional format, we also do not have a formal registry. We are both seasoned adults and have accumulated many material goods. What really matters to us is the relationships we have made with friends and family along the way.
