The first big mountain run Alaina dropped James off before. Right after this, he ran the entirety of the Sandia Crest Trail! It was early, she was sleepy, and he was excited and nervous. Great memory

Is this photograph our best? No. Did I have Covid but thought I was fine after 3 days and didn't want to miss our first camping trip together? Yes.

When I was living in CA, we'd stay close by having zoom date nights! Cooking dinner together, going to the theatre to watch the same movie, playing games, painting... it gently eased the distance.

James proposed on a visit to CO while I was slinging merch last summer! We hiked up Castle Rock in Castle Rock, and totally surprised me. Now we get to drive by it and smile every time we pass!

A gorgeous Taos Ski Valley surprise birthday trip for Alaina, featuring a very handsome, sweet guy in autumn golden hour light.

This was when James and Alaina drove out to LA. They moved Alaina into her place in Echo Park before James caught a plane back to ABQ to hold down the fort.
