How should I dress for the weather?

Answer

We are hoping for no rain, and clear skies. Even so, October in the PNW can get chilly especially in the evening. While the wedding is indoor, the venue is in the setting of a greenhouse/nursery garden, lending to an indoor-outdoor feel. Please bring a jacket to layer if needed, especially for entering and exiting the venue!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Our venue, Blockhouse-Pomarius Nursery (1988 NW 18th Ave) offers ample street parking at no cost. Also, there are two large pay-to-park lots within a block of walking distance. On NW 18th Ave, and on NW 17th & NW Upshur St.

What to expect for food?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served at cocktail hour alongside a coffee, tea, and fresh juice station. After the ceremony we will sit down to enjoy dinner served by our chef & team, who specialize in hand-crafted PNW inspired courses. Chef will prepare pairings of local wine with meal courses, then dessert to follow. There will be various options for those with dietary needs. *Please let us know in your RSVP if there are any other dietary restrictions or allergies!*

Are there any restrictions on alcohol?

Answer

No - there will be an open bar to include an array of local wines, micro brews, ciders, and beer. Also, each guest can enjoy two signature cocktails crafted by the bartender (which can be made as a mocktail).

After-wedding plans?

Answer

To abide by city ordinances, the wedding will conclude by 11:30pm latest. However, we are in a great area of the city to go out after! There are no set plans at this time but we'll see where the night takes us :)
