Alaina and Eric have known each other for almost their whole lives, first meeting through Alaina’s brother Tyler, who played football with Eric. Throughout high school, Eric would always go over to Tyler’s house after school, along with the rest of their friends. Over this period, Alaina and Eric found themselves growing closer as friends and that friendship continued into college. In the Spring of 2019, Alaina and Eric took their relationship to the next level and began dating. A year later, Covid hit and shut the world down for two years. During this time, Eric knew that he wanted to marry Alaina, but he knew that a special person deserved a special proposal. In the Spring of 2023, Alaina and Eric were finally able to go to Japan, a place Eric had always wanted to go. With the help of his friends Shinya and Akemi, he was able to make the trip even more memorable by asking Alaina to marry him.
