We first met in high school, in Mr. Mattern's history class. Although we sat next to each other, we only spoke a few times and were never more than classmates, both too shy to act on the crushes that we later confessed. Jumping ahead to our senior year of college, during a ~card game~ with a group of Alaina's friends, her friend, Emily, got the privilege of sending a snapchat to a random person in Alaina's contacts. That person happened to be Eddie (although Eddie swears it was a move)! He responded and we started talking. We went on our first date on June 11, 2021 and spent the rest of the summer dating before we both moved to new cities. We decided to try long distance, taking turns flying between Charlotte, NC and St. Louis, MO. This lasted for a year before Alaina moved in with Eddie, in St. Louis. After another year, we moved back to Media, PA in 2023 to be closer to family and friends. In June 2025, we traveled to Montana to go on a road trip we had been dreaming about for two years. Eddie made the trip that much more special by proposing on June 19th, our first full day in Glacier National Park. We spent the rest of the trip celebrating as we explored Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We look back on our time together so far and are both happy for the twists and turns that have led us to where we are today. We are looking forward to June 19th, 2026 to celebrate with you all!
