Uber, Lyft, (and walking!), are your best bet to get around Delray Beach. If you're looking for private transportation to/from the airport, we suggest using A1A Limousine.
Our welcome party is from 8-10 p.m. at Lulu's — just one block down from The Ray Hotel! https://www.lulusdelray.com
Yes! We are NOT having our welcome drinks at Meso Beach House anymore. Due to an unforeseen cancellation, we are now having our welcome party at Lulu's Cafe and Cocktail Bar. It's located at 189 NE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach (a block away from The Ray Hotel!)
Our wedding is semi-formal (tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses!) Our welcome event dress code at Lulu's is dressy casual.
We're providing bus transportation to and from The Ray Hotel and The Residence Inn to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton (it's about 15-20 minutes away). Buses depart promptly from The Residence Inn at 3 p.m. and leave The Ray Hotel at 3:15 p.m. If you're staying at Hyatt Place, please walk down the block to The Ray to catch the bus there. Immediately following the ceremony, please hop on a bus to get back to The Ray for cocktail hour and our reception!
Once the sun goes down, it can get chilly. We suggest looking at the weather forecast and planning accordingly. We will also have space heaters.
Please hop in an Uber or Lyft, then grab one of our shuttle buses back to the reception afterwards!
We're having our cocktail hour and reception at the Rosewater Rooftop at The Ray Hotel in Delray Beach. Can't wait to celebrate with you!
The only event during our wedding weekend that will be indoors is the church ceremony. Please feel free to wear a mask or sit socially distanced — whatever you need to feel safe and protected!
Hopefully you'll be in good spirits to walk to Tin Roof (it's about 8 minutes away). If you need some assistance, grab a quick Uber!
Yes – Delivery Dudes! www.deliverydudes.com
The hotel offers private shuttles to and from the hotel (and has a designated beach chair area). It's about a 20 minute walk or quick Uber ride!
Your health and safety continue to be our priority. We are asking all wedding guests to please be fully vaccinated or take a PCR test 48-72 hours prior to our wedding and email it to 59andbluebellevents@gmail.com prior to December 3rd. We are also hosting all of our events (besides the ceremony which takes place in a church), outside. Please feel free to take whatever precautions necessary to protect yourself, whether you prefer to Uber to the church, wear a mask, or socially distance. This is a judgement free zone!
Yes, please stop by the front desk to get yours!
Evil eyes protect you against negativity. The evil eye is a curse from Greek culture that's been passed through many decades and still exists today. It states that when someone is envious of you, they'll have the power to give you an 'evil glare' and send bad luck your way. Because of this belief, protection from the evil eye is something that many people actively sought after. This is why, in today's times, people use evil eye jewelry as a symbol of protection against bad luck.
