We're Getting Married!

We met each other in 9th-grade science class at Anoka High School. After three seating arrangements of the teacher putting us next to each other, we knew something was up. We started talking to each other between classes and in the halls. After a couple of months of becoming each other's best friends, we knew we had something special.

What was supposed to be Austin's birthday celebration turned into one of the most memorable days of our lives. After dinner, we went for a walk through downtown Wayzata, towards the boardwalk by the lake. Once we got to the trail's end, a spot was set up with flowers and a scrapbook. We looked through the scrapbook together that contained pictures of the memories we had made over the past five years. When we got to the page that said "The Proposal," Austin got down on one knee, and Alaina said, "YES!".
