Alex's mom Barbara will be handling all group booking for the cruise. As a travel agent she has worked with Royal Caribbean before so she will be able to answer your questions better. Group booking ensures a lower price per room than booking individually. There will be a cutoff time for group booking because once she starts the group booking process she only has 60 days to complete it. If you would like to be part of the group booking we're shooting for October 1st as the cut off for that so she can lock in the lowest rate. Prices will only go up at the date of embarkation grows closer. If you would like to book individually too that is fine. Barbara Ghiggeri bghiggeri@hotmail.com 570.350.4938
We know this is quite an expensive trip. We understand if thats too much for a family to commit to. If you are worried about booking and then seeing the prices go down after, you or your travel agent can contact royal carribbevn and ask for the lower price after booking.
Short answer...no-ish. We've decided to skip and fancy sit down dinner reception and instead have a cocktail hour(open bar) and hors d'oeuvres. We didn't want to try to squeeze everything into one day. After the ceremony and cocktail hour you and your family/friends can explore the ship more and we can all meet back up in the evening at the dance club to party.
If your flying into Florida, the closest airport is Orlando. I highly recommend that you fly in the day before. If you have any delays on the day of embarkation you could miss the boat and thus the whole cruise. There are multiple hotels in Port Canaveral within walking distance of the ship. If you are driving there is parking at the ship for your car to stay while we're cruising.
Absolutely! We chose this cruise company because of their children programs and how many activities there are for all ages. Depending on how many people rsvp will determine if kids will be at the wedding. There is no limit for how many people can join us on the cruise, there is a limit for how many can be at our ceremony. It is indoor and has a fire safety limit. As were getting closer to the date we will have a better idea on how many people are coming. If thats the case we will give you plenty of time to sign them up for kids club activities during the ceremony. FYI there is no splash pad for infants/toddlers on this ship. Children under three are not allowed in the onboard pools even with a swim diaper. There are only two ship days and they can still enjoy water on port days. Just want to make sure everyone with little kids is aware of that. There are tons of things to do on the ship and a daycare center for 3 months and above. Different ages in different spaces.
