We discovered this restaurant with Ryan (Lindsay's Man of Honor) during his visit this year.
Flower Child
Flower Child is a vibrant eatery that celebrates fresh, wholesome ingredients with a focus on health-conscious cuisine. The menu features a variety of dishes, including salads, grain bowls, and delicious vegetarian and vegan options, all made with locally sourced produce. Alex currently works here and Lindsay loves when he brings home leftovers! Check it out for lunch or dinner!
Tiffins India Café Boulder
Tiffins specializes in authentic Indian cuisine, offering a diverse menu that showcases traditional flavors and vibrant dishes. Guests can enjoy a variety of options, from aromatic curries to flavorful biryanis, all made with fresh ingredients and spices. This is a great spot for a cozy dinner or a casual lunch. We discovered Tiffins soon after moving to Colorado, Lindsay's favorite is their butter chicken, and Alex's favorite is their chicken korma.
Mason's Dumpling Shop - Boulder
Mason's Dumpling Shop is a cozy eatery dedicated to crafting delicious, handmade dumplings that celebrate bold flavors and fresh ingredients. With a menu featuring a variety of dumpling styles, including steamed, pan-fried, and fried options, there's something for everyone. The warm and welcoming atmosphere encourages diners to enjoy their meal in a relaxed setting. Alex used to work here, and we keep coming back for the delicious dumplings!

Pizzeria Alberico offers an authentic taste of Italy with its delicious, handcrafted pizzas made from high-quality ingredients. The menu features a variety of classic and creative toppings. We love stopping in here for pizza!
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
The Dushanbe Teahouse in Boulder is a beautifully decorated tea house that offers a unique cultural experience. Gifted by Boulder's sister city, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, the teahouse features stunning hand-carved wooden details and vibrant mosaics, creating an enchanting atmosphere. There is an extensive selection of teas from around the world, along with delicious pastries and light meals.
Avanti Food and Beverage, Boulder
Avanti is one of our favorite places to stop on Pearl Street on a night out. It features a selection of food stalls downstairs offering diverse cuisines from tacos to ramen. The rooftop bar has beautiful views of Boulder and the Flatirons.
Chautauqua Park
Chautauqua Park is a scenic gem at the foot of the iconic Flatirons. It features lush meadows, winding hiking trails, and stunning mountain views. We love going for a short hike here after work in the summer!
Button Rock Trailhead
We found this beautiful area a few years ago and recently shared it with Alex's parents Jeannie and Tom when they visited this year. This trailhead serves as the gateway to a variety of scenic trails that wind through stunning landscapes. Located near the Button Rock Reservoir, it offers access to hiking routes suitable for all skill levels, with opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife spotting along the way. The area is known for its beautiful rock formations and picturesque views of the surrounding foothills, making it a perfect starting point for outdoor adventures. This is about a 45 minute drive from Boulder, if you have the time we highly recommend visiting!
Estes Park
Estes Park is a charming mountain town known for its stunning natural beauty and proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. Surrounded by majestic peaks, the town offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. Main Street features delightful shops, restaurants, and galleries. Estes Park is home to the historic Stanley Hotel which has a wine bar, whiskey bar, and restaurant. Since moving to Colorado, we have set aside a weekend every year to hike near Estes Park in the Rocky Mountains and enjoy our time on Main Street. Our favorite whiskey (Elkins) has a storefront in Estes Park, if you have the time, stop in for a tasting!
