My fiancé and I met when I was a senior in high school and he had recently graduated and was working for a moving company. We quickly connected through our shared interests and values, beginning as friends before our relationship gradually grew into something much deeper. Our first date was simple but memorable—a trip to IHOP followed by Starbucks—where we spent hours talking about our past experiences, future dreams, and everything in between. What started as a friendship blossomed into a love that has continued to grow stronger with each passing year. Nearly nine years later, we have celebrated every holiday, birthday, milestone, and achievement side by side. Through life’s challenges and successes, we have remained each other’s constant source of support, laughter, and love. Together is truly our favorite place to be, and every year strengthens the bond we share.
