We're Getting Married!

Before they officially met, Akshay and Christi crossed paths multiple times at mutual friends’ parties and at lessons but they never spoke to each other. It wasn’t until September 2017, when Christi entered Form 6 at Hillview College did everything change. From that moment on, what began as a simple friendship quickly blossomed into something more and in May 2018, Akshay asked Christi to be his girlfriend and marked the beginning of their beautiful journey together.

Akshay arranged a photoshoot for Christi, but little did she know that it was actually going to be her engagement shoot! She had always dreamed of getting engaged at North Deck, and Akshay made that dream come true. When they arrived, he surprised her with 24 red roses and the most beautiful setup. As they walked up, Bruno Mars' "Marry You" played in the background and before Christi knew it, Akshay was down on one knee. Overcome with emotion, she shouted "YES," and just like that, they were engaged!

Now, after seven years of love and laughter, Akshay and Christi are excited to take the next step in their journey. They can’t wait to say “I do” and begin the next chapter of their story, side by side. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
