Our wedding will be a beautiful mix of Gujarati and Maharashtrian traditions, filled with meaningful rituals. Key moments include the Mangalashtak (a recitation of Vedic mantras blessing the couple), Kanyadaan (giving away of the bride), and Mangal Pheras (sacred rounds around the fire). We’ll also perform the Saptapadi, where we take seven vows together, and the groom will tie the mangalsutra (a sacred necklace symbolizing marriage) and apply sindoor (vermillion powder applied to the bride's hair parting as a mark of marriage). Each tradition symbolizes our love, commitment, and the blending of our families.
