We’ve known each other since we were twelve years old, two kids from Ecuadorian families, brought together by fate (and a real estate deal). What started as a friendship between family friends quickly became something deeper. We just got each other. Same roots, same rhythm, same effortless connection. By high school, that friendship blossomed into love. We dated, we grew, we dreamed. But as college approached, we parted ways. This gave us the opportunity to give each other space to grow, explore, and become who we were meant to be. Years passed. Life happened. And yet, we never forgot each other. Then the universe nudged us back together, older, wiser, and more certain than ever. This time, there was no hesitation. We knew: this was it. We’re filled with gratitude for every twist and turn that led us here. Our story is one of patience, growth, and destiny. We grew up together, drifted apart, and found our way back, stronger, surer, and ready for forever.
