What is the dress code?

Answer

Wear whatever makes you feel most beautiful :) (or handsome). The weather is sunny and warm but there's a constant breeze so it's not hot-hot. We'll be in a beautiful garden and then a stunning rooftop venue for our reception so just wear what makes you feel your best. I will be wearing a wedding dress, Daniel will be wearing a suit.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Not during the ceremony at all. We have a wonderful photographer and we'd like you to be present with us in the moment. When looking at our pictures I want to see all of you, not people holding up their phones. After and during the reception take as many as you'd like!

Transportation to the wedding ceremony + reception?

Answer

We are providing transportation to and from the ceremony and reception! The ceremony gardens do not permit outside vehicles so make sure you get on that bus! The reception is a short walk back to your hotel or you may uber of course.

What type of food and drink will be served?

Answer

While you relax and wait on Daniel and I to arrive- cocktail hour: will include a charcuterie board, beer, wine, and a signature cocktail. There will be a four course dinner; from steak to salmon there is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Beer, wine, signature cocktails will be served all night. An assortment of desserts as well. Drink up and get ready to dance!!!!

Leahi Lanai, located on the rooftop of the Queen Kopialani Hotel. just a few minute walk back to your hotel

Any locals that can help with recommendations?

Answer

Travis! Such a sweetheart. He has offered to personally assist our guests with any plans during your trip: hikes, sightseeing, water activities. Anything from free activities to bigger events. If you’re interested in anything or have questions about transportation-sunblock give him a call.

You are not obligated to use the hotel block! It is a lovely hotel but there are many more to choose from.
