Our Engagement
For our second anniversary, we travelled to Williamsburg, Virginia. We decided to spend the week sharing our love of rollercoasters, exploring historical and fantastical destinations, and laughing and loving each other endlessly along the way.
On May 31, 2022, two years after Kevin asked Alicia to be his girlfriend, we boarded the Schooner Alliance in Yorktown, Virginia. After a breathtaking tour of the York River, Kevin asked Alicia if she would like to take a walk along the beach.
Ever the impatient one, after a few minutes of walking along the beach, Alicia asked if Kevin was ready to go to their dinner reservations. Luckily, Kevin convinced her to continue walking.
As Alicia stood at the edge of the beach, looking out into the sunset, Kevin called her name and asked her to turn around. There he stood with a wooden box, engraved with the words "Forever and Always", holding the ring that promised their forever... and then some.
