Did you know… Amber and Mat worked in the same park in 2013? Without ever formally meeting, their paths crossed only in mutual acquaintances. The story… They “met” in an even more unconventional way. Their conversations were sporadic, and surface level. After years of back and forth (with responses months in between), the dots were connected. A coy conversation quickly turned into an intriguing connection. Their first official meeting was at an Amigo The Devil show on Amber’s birthday. A death ride around Boston, and Mat was either in a burrito-induced coma or scared for his life. Either way, their banter continued. A date to La Salette months later and they were quickly drawn to the company of one another. Spending weekends taking trips up and down the East Coast and beyond, falling more in love every step of the way. It became harder to limit themselves to weekends, Mat sacrificing sleep, driving from Abington, to Taunton, to Methuen, to Taunton, just to know Amber was comfortably asleep in Methuen. And then came the home, and the ring. Because why not tackle two of life’s most expensive moments back to back? The two have found something in one another that they never thought they’d find again. A best friend, a life partner, a deep and worthy and powerful and passionate love. And they cannot wait to experience this next journey together.
