We met online in March of 2021 and agreed to meet for our first date at Jim Mack’s for ice cream! Andrew brought roses and made sure to ask for Kendra’s phone number before leaving. The flowers continued through their first few dates and Andrew became known as “flower guy” to Kendra’s closest friends. In June Andrew asked Kendra to be in a relationship.

We visited longwood gardens during our first Christmas season together, and had talked about going back during the summer to see it from a different perspective. The summer passed and we didn’t make it back, until July 2023. Andrew suggested that we go to Longwood Gardens. Kendra knew something was up when he bought tickets early, took off work, made dinner reservations at Josephines and got his haircut before the weekend. Her intuition was right! Andrew proposed privately in front of the waterfall!
