Meet our Team

Kelechi

Matron of Honor

I am the brides older sister, blessed and grateful for this beautiful day that is gracefully coming to us. Uzoma and I have been through together the best times, fun times, challenging times and now God has blessed us with our heart desires in finding the bones of our bones and flesh of our flesh. My Handsome in-law Akin however we all call him A.L who has been a blessing to all of our lives in the Nwokoji family. I remember meeting him officially for the first time at a parking lot in Parlos Verdes next to a T-mobile store. He is a total gem. Absolutely one of a kind and the perfect fit for Uzoma. Uzoma is the kennel to Akins Palm Kennel. Hard to crack but sweet and delicious on the inside. I wish the both of them a blissful blessed fruitful joyful and Godfearing marriage. I love them with all my heart and can’t wait for this story and journey to begin.

Nwakaego

Maid of Honor

I am the brides sister. I met the groom on the same day his eyes caught my sister and he instantly fell in love. He went to and fro to find more information about his now bride to be. From that special day forward, they never were separated. P.s she did my hair and makeup…☺️

Oluwabukola

Chief Bridesmaid

I met the bride in an elevator on campus as a freshman and asked if she was Nigerian and the rest is history. Since that encounter, we’ve lived together in college and have been inseparable. I have met Akin on many occasions and I approve of this union 🤭 even though I’m the love of her life. Looking forward to #TheUnion2025#

Precious

Chief Bridesmaid

The bride has been like a sister to me ever since her family joined our church. We were a part of the elder kids group within the kids ministry during our time. Since then we have grown up together and I regard her and her sisters as family. The bride tries to be as secretive as me but I soon found out about her Akin during my visit while she was attending university in Missouri. Since then I’ve known that her sights were straight and it was only a matter of time.

Ogechi

Advanced Bridesmaid

I am the bride’s adopted sister. I met her through my older cousin. I eventually met the groom when we were preparing for the wedding of the brides sister. P.S. I’m also their adopted child

Goodness

Advanced Bridesmaid

I met the bride as a freshman in college (or she met me lol). I was brand new to the school and still trying to adapt. There was an event going on and I was standing in line behind a group of people I instantly knew were Nigerians. In my heart, I just knew I’ve found my people, but my introverted self kept overthinking introducing myself to them. Just then the bride walks up to me and asks me if I was Nigerian and introduced herself. Something about that meeting warmed my heart and since then it’s been “for life🫶🏽” I heard great things about the groom even before I met him and have no doubts that God has brought them together to complete and complement each other. I can’t wait to celebrate their union together…. #theUnion2025!!!

Osiyana

Advanced Bridesmaid

I met the bride through her sister Nwakaego. I knew she was different because the second time i saw her she pressed me about trying to act brand new by not speaking 😂. We are literally the same person in diffferent fonts. I love her and Akin’s relationship and couldn’t find two people more suited for each other. They compliment each other in the way God intended and and I’m so blessed to celebrate their "union" with them 💕

Akinfemi
