I love the story of how we met. It feels rather mundane, but it's in its mundane-ness that its extraordinary. Like, the greatest things in life can come from the most unexpected of places. We met one night at a Waffle House through a mutual friend. Sarah ordered biscuits and gravy, and I ordered a chocolate chip waffle. One Waffle House meetup turned into two, then three, then suddenly, we were like best friends. We shared a love of music, travel, and the Gospel. Those passions are the ones that strengthen our relationship to this day. We've grown closer at concerts, sporting events, day-trips, and just sitting on the couch watching YouTube. The day I proposed, we were headed to a Titans game. It was nothing special, but we were excited nonetheless. A few weeks later, we celebrated the occasion with an overnight trip to Greenville, South Carolina. Our relationship as grown in the context of spontaneity, and that's where it thrives. 1 Corinthians 13 is a passage we always like to recite to one another, and it's something that we strive to live by every day. I am so excited to be married to this woman, and we would love for you to join us in celebrating this beautiful thing that the Lord has created.
