HOW WE MET Kismet! That’s the essence of our story and relationship. We met by mere fate! I was on vacation celebrating my birthday in Cancun with friends, and Ankur was celebrating with a group of friends for one of their birthdays. We were staying at different resorts but met at a concert. We know that our meeting was destined to happen. I was supposed to go to Cabo instead of Cancun but it did not work out. I was also supposed to go to a different concert on a different day but decided to change last minute! THE PROPOSAL Fast forward to March 2024, I went back to my hometown for what was supposed to be an award ceremony honoring my brother. Instead, I was taken to a beautiful botanical garden, where I heard a violin playing and saw Ankur down on one knee. After the photo shoot, Ankur also planned a surprise party at another location where our close family and friends were all gathered to surprise me and celebrate our engagement. We have been inseparable from the moment we met. We have also been in alignment about the way we choose to love and cherish each other. We are grateful to our family and friends who have supported us and encouraged us. We can’t wait for you to celebrate this momentous occasion with us in Mexico!
