Our wedding celebration on Saturday will take place at The Opinicon, located at 1697 Chaffeys Lock Rd, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0. Scroll down for details about lodging options. The Cove Inn is located on the waterfront of the Upper Rideau Lake. We will host a welcome event here on Friday evening (so it is PERFECTLY located for that). It is 20 minutes by car from the Opinicon, where we will have our Saturday celebration. Built in 1876, it offers a combination of vintage character and modern comforts. They have 12 rooms available for check-in on Sept 5th and check out on Sept 7th. They range from $239 to $279 CAD per night + tax (~$166 to $194 USD per night). The Simmons family cottages are less than a five minute walk from where we will have our Saturday celebration. They are about 20 minutes from Westport, where we will have our Friday welcome event. These cottages are a great option for guests who are comfortable with a more rustic lodging experience. They have 7 cottages available for us for check-in on Sept 5 and check-out on Sept 7th. Each cottage has between 1 and 3 bedrooms and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, running water, and electricity. The Simmons family has given us a 10% discount off their nightly rates, which range from $168 to $219 CAD per night + tax. For more details on each cottage, click the "View" button below. Brothers Island Lodge

Newboro Lake, Leeds and Grenville United Counties, ON K0G 1E0, Canada

Brother's Island is located in Newboro Lake about 15 minutes by boat from where our Friday welcome event and Saturday celebration will take place. It's home to a rustic lodge that we have access to through the generosity of one of our guests. They would also get you to and from our events via their boat. The lodge can accommodate up to 8. If you're fewer than that, you would potentially share the space with other guests.
