FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Bed, Bath and Beyond, Wayfair, and Amazon. We also have two cash funds for a piano and a sofa.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

9/1/2020

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate, and we cannot wait to see you! We think this is a wonderful occasion to pull out all the stops - wear that fancy dress or suit you’ve been saving. If it’s a little snazzy or extra exciting, all the better! However, we have no desire to exclude anyone based on this. We completely understand that everyone has limitations due to comfort, cost, or any number of other concerns. Most importantly, we want to see *you* - even if you’re wearing just a potato sack. [1] In the unstudied words of Mr. Collins, [2] “Do not make yourself uneasy, my dear cousin, about your apparel. Lady Catherine is far from requiring that elegance of dress in us which becomes herself and her daughter. I would advise you merely to put on whatever of your clothes is superior to the rest--there is no occasion for anything more. Lady Catherine will not think the worse of you for being simply dressed." Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you would like a plus one who is not already invited, please let us know, so we can arrange for seating for your guest.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be serving food via a buffet with the option to assemble an allergen-friendly dinner.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Due to several community events happening the same weekend as our wedding, we want to encourage you all to begin arranging for housing as soon as possible. We have blocked rooms at several hotels, and you can find that information on our "Accommodations" page. We do also recommend looking at Air BnBs. Please, please do reach out to us if you are unable to find accommodations, and we will do everything in our power to assist you.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Both the church and the reception venue have ample parking. However, if some people are able to carpool, that would be helpful.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children, but due to venue constraints we cannot accommodate all the children of our guests. Please see your invitation envelope to see if your children are invited. And feel free to reach out to us if you have questions or concerns!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, there is not.
