What Emily thought would be a simple dinner date followed by a trip up the mountain to watch the sunset at their favorite spot turned into something far more meaningful.
The falls had always been a special place for the two of them—a peaceful spot where they’d watched countless sunsets through every season. It was where they often went to admire God’s beautiful creation, reflect on cherished memories, and celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. Austin knew this was the perfect place to propose, and he didn’t have to do much convincing to get her there. After all, watching the sunset was one of Emily’s favorite things to do.
It was just the two of them when Austin popped the question, and the sunset that evening became the most memorable one of all!
