Matron of Honor
I met Deon almost 10 years ago (wow!), back before we became LSs. We connected pretty much instantly and have been rocking ever since! She’s my bestie! She’s been there for me through all the craziness life brings and all of my victories! I’m so glad that I get to stand beside her during one of her life’s most precious moments! I love you, suga! Thank you for taking care of her Marv! Let’s get y’all down the aisle!
Maid of Honor
A young 14yo me met Deon our freshman year walking the halls of Carroll HS in Corpus Christi. That was almost 16 years ago OMG!! Since then, the inside jokes and memories, have only grown just like us. You’re the definition of a great friend and It is an honor to stand beside you Deon, on your wedding day. I can’t wait for more of the memories and life ahead that we both have to look forward too. Congratulations to you and Marv! You’re a gem, the best, best friend any girl could have. Love you, mean it

I've had the privilege of knowing Deon my entire life, growing up alongside her through awkward phases, big milestones, triumphs, and challenges. She's always been someone I could count on – for honest advice, unwavering support, and an empathetic ear. Deon, your strength, kindness, and spirit mean the absolute world to me. To see you so incredibly happy and building this beautiful future with Marvin is a truly moving experience. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!

Deon and I met when she became my pageant aunt for the Miss Black UTSA pageant in 2017. She then became my prophyte for the Ultimate Upsilon Nu chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Since then, she has grown to become my big sister, bestfriend and such a light in my life. I am so happy for this chapter of her life and looking forward to this beautiful union!

Nawfside the realest. Shout out to Brooks Chapel! ✊🏾 Deon and I are cousins, just one of the millions. I’ve known her my entire life. However, our true bond began on the front pew on the right side of Brooks Chapel AME. Despite our complete opposites, Deon has always been my rock, providing me with protection, comfort, and reassurance that I am eternally grateful for. Her infectious sense of humor kept me sane during my pregnancy with my son. Honestly, I don’t know if we would have made it through if she hadn’t been there for me, and that’s why she is BJ’s godmother. Deon is a true vessel for The Lord, and I am blessed to be a part of your life and witness the next chapter in your journey. You deserve everything and more, and I love you!

My name is Jasmin Escutia, I currently live in Corpus Christi, Texas and work as a healthcare consultant. I met Deon over 10 years ago out and about in the city. We naturally met and gravitated towards each other and have been friends ever since. I personally love Deon so much and I love how we can go stretches without talking but can naturally just gravitate back to each other and connect. I’m so grateful for Deon and our friendship, it’s a blessing to have an added sister through Christ. I wish her and Marv a happy and blessed life, may they walk together with God through this life and always find each other.

I'm Deon's linesister. We met in college through our sorority Delta Sigma Theta oo-oop! Deon has always been someone who will be there for you no matter what. Even without knowing me, she was giving me advice and was very supportive. I have always loved and admired her nurturing spirit. I am so happy to celebrate her in this next step of her life and the many more to come because she deserves it. I love you Deon let's get you married!

Deon is my cousin, but we really became close about 10 years ago after we went to high school together. We bonded over all things beauty and we haven’t stopped since! She’s always there when I need her, the best hype woman around, and has a laugh that fills up any room. I’m so blessed to have her in my life and I’m excited to finally have the day we’ve been talking about for years.
Best Man
Marvin is my bonus brother from another mother and mister. We go way back like four flats on papa’s Cadillacs. From surviving childhood chaos, teenage choices and a slew of sketchy situation I can’t wait to tell at the reception. I’ve watched him grow from messy Marv to young Marv to Mr. Marvin Keith, a stand up guy full of integrity, discipline, love and loyalty. Deon is an amazing women that not only completes him, but compliments him as well. I believe she is the yin to his yang and both are very deserving of each other and serves as proof their relationship is ordained by God. It is an honor to be able to witness this lovely union on the front lines as Marvin’s best man as we welcome Deon with open arms and an open heart into our tight knitted family.
Groomsman
Chance, better known as ChanceO and the younger brother of the groom, but he will call me Chance’C like our mom do. My bro has always been the guy with the inside jokes: “If you don’t know me, don’t bro me.” Growing up, we shared countless fun moments with Dad — camping, fishing, and competing to catch the biggest fish or the most of them. My big brother has always been my go-to guy — a source of laughter and a shoulder to lean on. Some of my most memorable moments with him include, his big move to Dallas when he got his first apartment. We thought we were moving on up to the big leagues... until he took us to a vegan burger joint, which quickly turned into a hilarious race to the bathroom. Let’s just say, it was unforgettable we all had the S***. Before the move, I loved playing basketball and hitting the gym with my brother. I’ve always admired how he stepped up, teaching me what it means to be a man and showing me the true value of a dollar. I’m truly honored and excited to stand by his side as he says ‘I do’ to his bride, the ❤️ love of his life and my new sister-n-law Deon

Hey everyone, I’m Marquis Wallace, Marvin is a longtime partner-in-crime from our INROADS days. We met back in college and somehow survived the chaos of Dallas before both relocating to Houston, wiser… and maybe a little more eager to excel. If you know Marvin, you know he’s loyal, driven, and never short on energy, or calculations which is also why he became the best CPA. He’s the kind of friend who shows up, follows through, and keeps you laughing even when life gets challenging. Marv, seeing you take this next step is something special, and I know you’re ready! I am honored to be a part of your special day. Deon, you’ve got a good one; slightly stubborn, but definitely one of the best! Now go build something amazing together and don’t forget the blessings of six boys and six girls. You’ll thank me later. Cheers to y’all!

Marvin has been a great friend since high school and we’ve only gotten closer through the years. He’s always a go-to for level headed advice on just about anything and someone I know will have my back. But, once I realized how detailed his movie recaps were, I knew I had a friend for life! I couldn’t be happier for my guy tying the knot.
Groomsman
Although Marvin and I both attended the same high school, our paths didn't cross until college, where we officially met in 2014 through the Professional Accounting Society (PAS). It was through this organization that Marvin, Jason, and I quickly formed a strong bond rooted in our shared passion for accounting and professional growth. Over the years, our friendship has grown beyond the classroom and into our careers, where we all now work as accountants. I'm honored to stand by Marvin's side as he begins this exciting new chapter.
Groomsman
My name is Darius and I’m honored take apart in this next chapter of y’all’s lives. Marvin and I grew up living together when we were very young to visiting each other every weekend when we didn’t. I’m glad I could always count on you for anything that I needed help with, whether it be something as simple as advice or something as big as needing a favor. When you chose me as a groomsmen I can’t lie I was surprised but at the same time I wouldn’t expect any less from my cousin. I wish you guys the best and most joyful moments and know that if you guys need anything I’m only a phone call away
Groomsman
I am honored to stand beside Marvin as a groomsman for his blessed marriage to his lovely bride Deon. I met Marvin in the accounting program at University of Houston - Downtown. Our friendship has evolved from one of mere classmates into a mutual personal friendship. I have watched Marvin develop into a thoughtful, steady, and driven man ready for the commitment of marriage, of building a family (I'm predicting 6 kids), and a love for his community (his 6 kids). I'm proud to call Marvin my friend. I think Marvin and Deon complete one another. I'm happy they found each other. I'm looking forward to witnessing their blessed union blossom. "At-a-boy, Marvin!" Wishing you all the best with those six kids. May your coffee be strong and your naps uninterrupted. I’m available for babysitting…Tuesdays after 10 p.m., if they're still awake. Congratulations.
Groomsman
A lot of people ask how I know Marvin, and I tell them we’re family — just related by other cousins. But like the line from the movie Sinners says: “Nah… we cousins.” Not just related — but the real kind. The kind that shows up for each other, can talk about everything, and have a few stories that probably shouldn’t be repeated online. We didn’t grow up close, but when I moved to Houston, we connected. From late-night family events to wild situations at the club where things almost went left… usually right around the time Marvin conveniently remembered he “left something in the car.” But that’s him — always smooth, always strategic, and always with a story. Now, seeing him with Deon, someone who truly matches his energy and brings out the best in him, is something special. I’m proud of him and even prouder to be part of this next chapter in his life.
