We're Getting Married!

We met 17 years ago, living only five houses apart. Who would’ve thought that the person just down the street would someday become our everything? Twelve years later, we found ourselves working at the same company. What started as shared lunches, evening walks, laughs, and late-night chats turned into the most beautiful friendship. We were inseparable—and maybe the people around us already saw what we hadn’t quite realized yet. Eventually, life took us down different paths. Akeem left for a new job & Tone-Shea left for nursing school, and with that came distance—both in miles and in moments. It was hard. But the love, though unspoken for a time, was never truly lost. A few months later, Akeem reached out. This time, we both made the choice to try—really try. The road still wasn’t easy. There was more distance, more growing, more figuring it all out. But this time, we fought for each other. And we kept choosing each other, again and again.
