Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a celebration full of color, culture, and joy—and we’d love for your outfits to reflect that spirit! Please avoid red or a stark white - red is the color the bride wears, and white is usually reserved for mourning. We encourage guests to wear Indian attire—think sarees, lehengas, salwar kameez, sherwanis, or kurta pajamas. If you’ve never worn Indian clothing before, don’t worry! We’re happy to help you find something comfortable and beautiful. Just reach out to us and we’ll point you in the right direction. Lashkaraa.com, Etsy, and perniaspopupshop.com are all options. Fremont and Berkeley have brick-and-mortar shops for Indian wear as well. If Indian attire isn’t an option, you’re welcome to wear festive, colorful, cocktail or formal wear. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we recommend block heels or comfortable shoes for walking on natural ground. Marin is generally temperate, but we also recommend bringing a warm layer (shawl or jacket), in case it gets chilly in the evening. We can’t wait to celebrate with you—dressed in your finest!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 1:30PM to park, get settled, enjoy our welcome offerings, and take in the beautiful redwood surroundings before the festivities begin.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please refrain from bringing boxed or physical gifts to the venue, but if you'd like to contribute to our next chapter together, we invite you to click our "Registry" page, where you’ll find options to send a gift or contribute to a honeymoon or future fund. We’re so grateful for your love and support! Thank you for celebrating with us—we can't wait to share this special day with you.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is a medium-sized parking lot than can accommodate ~70 cars at Deer Park Villa. Shuttles will be available for those who are staying at the hotel blocks. Carpooling or using a rideshare service is encouraged if possible. If you plan on celebrating with a drink, please make sure you have a designated driver!

Question

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 15, 2025. We will close the RSVP link beyond this date, as doing so will help us plan and make accommodations for all of our guests.
