I had just finished work one day and my manager brought me to the back because "I needed to meet someone". I followed her to the back and as I was clocking out I was introduced to this stunning girl. Immediately I said "Hi" and walked away because, "what girl that beautiful would notice me?" Well that girl did notice me but more importantly I noticed her the next day when she became Santa's new elf. I am Santa. From then on we went on a few dates and became pretty close, though we were not always dating during that time we still kept in touch and hung out quite a bit. After Kohl's reopened we were reunited and our love grew stronger than ever. When you know you know, and we could not be more sure than we have been from the first time we met!

The first time I walked into Kohl's in Indiana, Pa was when I was walking in for my interview. I hopped in line and was the next one waiting to ask where to go for it when I saw Andrew behind the counter at the first register smiling brightly. I remember thinking "Wow! Now there is a nice happy guy that someone is going to be lucky enough to spend the rest of their life with." I was still getting over a break up at the time and wasn't ready or thinking romantically for myself, but there was just this instant feeling when I saw him... I wouldn't call it love at first sight... just more of an instant connection. Then when I was back in my interview Andrea, the manager that was intereviewing me, mentioned him and that he was a pastor and I said I thought I saw him up front when I came in. The next day I came in for my training and Andrew walked into the office and Andrea introduced us... a few minutes later I got a friend request from him on Facebook and thought "Wow, that guy is fast!" Then on Sunday, Nov. 24th 2019, I came in for my first day working but when I arrived the managers were talking about how they needed an elf. I immediately jumped up and down and said "I can do it! I always wanted to be an elf" and that I was "perfect for it because I am a theatre major!" I was so excited, Andrew was late that day because he "was long-winded with my sermon today." Santa and Penelopy the elf made appearances three more Sundays after that and then went on their first "date" to see Christmas lights on December 5th! and who could have ever guessed that a year later on that same day we would be tieing the knot on the best Christmas present God could have ever given us! Each other! We are excited for the big day and to spend it with the closest family and friends we have! <3
