We met in 2019 as sophomores in high school. Even though we started in different friend groups, we kept crossing paths through classes and school activities. Eventually our worlds merged, and after a JROTC event, everything changed — from then on, we were inseparable. We started out as close friends, spending most of our time laughing, supporting each other through our ups and downs, and making memories. Even after one of us asked the other out a few times (and got turned down more than once), the timing eventually worked itself out. Almost two years later, after a late-night Whataburger run, we finally said yes to our first official date on September 29, 2021. From graduating high school and starting new jobs to moving into our first apartment and celebrating big milestones (including a few promotions along the way), we’ve grown side by side through every season of life. Now, as we look ahead to marriage, we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have supported, encouraged, and loved us from the very beginning.
