From that day on they have created an unbreakable bond, They have been there for each other through all the ups and downs, as well as thicks and thins of life. Cicely seen the greatness in Shannel at quickly nick named Shannel her wife. This lead Cicely to know she could not go on this journey without her wife by her side.

Joanna is the baby sister. Joanna being the last child and Cicely being the oldest in the house, Cicely always had Joanna on her hip. This is a bond that has expanded and has yet to stop. Cicely watched her baby sister grow from afar. Cicely rooted for Joanna from the sidelines and she watched her obtain two bachelors degrees and become an RN. Joanna has become an amazing woman without any help. Now, Joanna can thankfully accompany Cicely on one of the most significant days of her life, much like the day when Cicely laid eyes on Joanna for the first time.

From tiny teens to twenties you could never find Kim without Cicely. They did everything from party to travel and at some points in time they even worked together. Kim also played play an intricate part in the raising of Yally Cicely's oldest daughter. So, there is no way Cicely could marry her mister without her sister.
