Question

What time should I be seated for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can start taking seats at 2:00pm. Please be seated no later than 2:15pm. Please look at the boat schedule to ensure there are no travel issues.

When should I take the ferry?

Answer

The ferry comes and goes every 30 minutes. The groom and groomsmen will depart at 1:30, feel free to travel with them at the same time. You are more than welcome to leave earlier to explore the island, there is a lot to see!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. If there is rain, the venue will move us to a covered area. The reception is primarily inside. Guests are more than welcome to go outside during the reception and enjoy yard games and a bonfire.

Is parking available?

Answer

Guests can park for free in the Uncle Sam's Boat Tour parking lot to access the ferry. There will be free parking available at the reception as well.

If I am traveling, where should I stay?

Answer

In the "Where to Stay" section of the website, we listed many hotels in the area to choose from. Airbnb and Vrbo also have rentals. Please let us know where you will be staying!

Transportation

Answer

There are Ubers/Lyfts available in the area if needed. Guests are all responsible for transporting themselves to and from the hotel/reception/ceremony. There will be alcoholic drinks served at the reception. Please drink responsibly and plan for proper transportation.

Are tickets included?

Yes, tickets for the ferry ride and access to Boldt Castle are included!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will host an open bar from 4:00-5:00 during cocktail hour. After 5:00, we will have a cash bar. Please drink responsibly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your wedding invitation specifically lists a plus one, feel free to bring one. For families/groups, all of your names will be listed. Let us know the name of your plus one if we did not specific.

Answer

If you'd like to get us a gift, we kindly invite you to contribute to our honeymoon fund! Look under "registry" to gift through the website, or bring the gift the day of.

What airports are nearby?

Answer

Watertown International Airport (ART) is about 30-40 min drive to Alexandria Bay. Syracuse Hancock International Airport is about 1.5-2 hours from Alexandria Bay. Ogdensburg International Airport is about 45min-1hour drive
