Our Love Story
If you ask Joe how we met, he'll tell you it was at a funeral. If you know Joe, you know he's always ready with a joke. The truth is much less dramatic—we met on a dating app.
At the time, we'd both pretty much given up on finding "the one." As it turns out, everyone was right: your person shows up when you least expect it. I made the first move by liking one of Joe's photos and sending what can only be described as my best flirting attempt: "I hate cats too." Somehow, it worked.
Over the past five years, we've built a life together across three states—Georgia, North Carolina, and now Alabama. We are so excited to bring together the family and friends who shaped us before we met, as well as the wonderful people we've met together who continue to shape our lives and future.
