We don't exactly have your typical "how we met love story". In March Jordan had just finished a nine month deployment in Iraq with the U.S Army and was home on leave for a few weeks catching up with family. With Jordan being in town we popped onto each others profile radars on a dating app. I saw his profile which has a few pictures of him and his bio, "not looking for anything serious". After swiping right on Jordan's profile we instantly matched!! A few days had gone by and Jordan hadn't started a conversation so I made the first move and Jordan quickly asked me on a lunch date, but I had family in town and wasn't able to break away and go on the date. Shortly after Jordan went back to Texas and we remained friends but slowly drifted apart, talking every once and a while. It wasn't until August that we started talking again. We talked about everything we wanted in life and how we were both ready to settle down and start life. And that's when Jordan jokingly said "lets just get married to each other"...and look where we are now!

After Jordan and I started talking again, we knew something special was happening between us. So after about a month of talking I grabbed a friend and risked it all, we flew down to Texas and I met the love of my life for the first time ever. We knew early on in our relationship that we had something special and that we wanted to be with each other for eternity.

Well if you know anything about a plan, you would know that your plan NEVER goes the way you want. And that is exactly what happened when I proposed to the love of my life (Ashley)!! But with the help of her best friend and my best friends, they were about to turn my falling apart plan into something amazing and something we will never forget for the rest of our lives!! All within 13 minutes!
