It all started on that magical day in 2012, during their last semester of college at Chico State, when Brian begged Karissa to be in their group for the final project. Karissa quickly agreed when she realized it was in a group with 3 dudes. As all great love stories go, they lost touch after college and went their separate ways. The next year, Brian posted on Facebook that he was attending a music festival in Mountain View and Karissa commented that she was also going, so they met up. For a couple years, they were best friends and traveled together on solo trips, as friends do. It was during one of those trips to San Diego that Brian carried Karissa's suitcase and she started to get a twinkle in her eye for him. After many more months, their friendship turned to something more. In 2015, Brian took Karissa out for dinner on their first "official" date at "The Shady Lady Saloon" in Sacramento. Their love grew each day from there and they eventually moved in together in downtown San Francisco. Brian would always call Karissa his wife and they considered themselves already married but they decided to make it official. During a trip in Cancun for Karissa's birthday, Brian got on one knee and gave a beautiful speech asking Karissa to marry him. Such a beautiful speech in fact that he repeated it day after day to Karissa per her request. Now, they embark on another adventure together with loved ones all around!
