What time should I arrive?
Answer
The church ceremony is 3:30 pm - 4:15ish pm (please show up between 3-3:15 pm), the Cocktail hour is from 5-6 pm at The Grandview, then the party (dinner, dessert, dancing, festivities) starts at 6 pm - 10 pm!

Where should we stay?
Answer
Check our hotel option. Another choice would be to rent a place through Airbnb or VRBO. Please see the "travel" tab for more information.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! Black-Tie/Formal. Females please wear floor-length gowns and males please wear tuxes with neckties/bowties (or suit with jacket and tie). DO NOT WEAR WHITE!

Will there be transportation provided?
Answer
3 pm pick up from The Holiday Inn in Poughkeepsie. Stop at the church for the 3:30 pm ceremony. Vehicle will wait until approx. 4:15 pm, reload, drop at The Grandview for 5 pm reception. Vehicle will wait on site, shuttle as needed. Depart The Grandview at 10pm with a final drop at The Holiday Inn by 10:15 pm *look for a big black shuttle bus*

Are children invited?

We love your little ones, but the wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We respectfully ask that no children attend the ceremony/reception. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding :)

It’s a masquerade reception?

YES! This is a beauty and the beast masquerade wedding (only wear a mask during the venue reception - not in church). If you cannot provide your own, one will be given to you.

Unless stated otherwise, we will only be able to accommodate the number of guests listed on your invitation.

Our specialty drink for our wedding is called The Dyna. The ingredients are 1.5 oz Vodka, 1 oz Chambord, 2 oz Champagne, 1 tsp Grenadine, 2 oz cranberry juice, & 1 tbsp Simple syrup.
