We’re getting married

Ajith was playing his heart out on the basketball court when his attention turned towards the volleyball court where he first caught a glimpse of Christine's natural ability to dive for a ball. They locked eyes while the world around them stood still. Facebook friend requests were flying. Instagram DM's were sent (by Ajith) and the rest was a piece of candy. No seriously, Ajith bribed Christine with candy to go on their first date. Romantic, huh?

Ajith set a personal record for how long he could keep a secret to make this proposal special and a complete surprise for me. We dressed up and went out for a day at the movies and shopping while Ajith's family prepped and decorated their house for a surprise anniversary party (or so I thought). Hours later, we drove home. As we got closer to the house, I saw the driveway filled with our beautiful families and friends. I looked at Ajith and he just smiled, repeatedly raising his eyebrows at me. He held my hand as he led me through a path of gleaming sparklers and got down on one knee. I said "YES", and we were both whisked away to a night of love, laughing, and dancing to celebrate our engagement! We can't wait to start this new chapter in our lives with family and friends by our side!
