We first met in high school, through mutual friends. We had very few classes together where we got to know each other a little bit better, but never thought we would ever end up together. After high school, we both went to different universities. Eventually, Janea moved back to Chicago and attended DePaul University. We both rekindled our friendship and became closer over time. Eventually, we began dating and 6 years later, we're finally getting married!
