It goes without saying that this is not how we pictured we'd be walking down the aisle. Whenever we’d talk ‘wedding’ over the past few years, it was never about the details - just the essence of it; an energy of togetherness and feeling like all we wanted was to get married in front of our closest friends and family and end the night dripping sweat on a dance floor somewhere while the sun was rising.
But life gave us lemons, as it will many more times, and, frankly, there’s no better way to start a marriage than with a moment that is uniquely ours (or ‘with a boatload of lemonade’ as Josh would prefer to say here).
Though we can't physically be together, we already feel your presence and we will keep that energy with us throughout each moment. When it is safe to do so - believe us when we say it will be the reception of a lifetime.
Until then, thank you all for joining us here in this way. It means the world to us and we love you all.
