How we met...

It all began on April 16, 2022, at the engagement party of our two best friends. The evening was full of laughter, celebration, and a lot of introductions—but one introduction in particular would change everything. When Olamiposi first saw Eloise, his exact thought was, “There’s no way a girl this beautiful is still single.” Beyond that, she was so easy to talk to that he almost forgot how nervous he was to say hello. Eloise, on the other hand, immediately noticed how welcoming, kind, and full of energy Posi was. But what stood out most? “He knew how to pray,” she remembers. “This is a man who knows God intimately.” Shortly after, we were both honored to be asked to serve as maid of honor and best man for our friends’ wedding. As we worked together on everything from dance choreography to speeches, it was clear we made a great team. It wasn’t just the shared sense of humor or teamwork that brought us together—it was how much our shared faith and values aligned. Through every late-night planning call, we saw in each other not just a partner for wedding duties but someone who genuinely reflected the love of Christ. By the time our friends said their vows, it was clear God was writing a story for us too. And now, as we plan our own wedding, we couldn’t be more grateful for how it all started—with an introduction that turned into forever.
