Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ajanta Raman and Leo Harelson
We are so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you! Kansas City, recognized as "The Paris of the Plains" is known for their BBQ and their gorgeous fountains. It is child-friendly and full of tasty restaurants. Below are a few of our favorite spots, but here's also a link to the official Kansas City tourism website: https://www.visitkc.com/visitors/things-do/attractions/everything-you-need-know-about-spring-kansas-city *AND* https://www.visitkc.com/visitors/things-do/trip-ideas/first-timers-guide-kansas-city

Chicken N Pickle - Kansas City

1761 Burlington Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116
, (816) 537-1400

Leo and I play here (and at the Overland Park location) as Newbies in the sport. It's a fun, fast paced game that is the weird child of tennis and ping pong. The site has indoor and outdoor courts. It also has a wonderful restaurant and bar to enjoy when not playing.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

4525 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64111
, (816) 751-1278

Leo and I attended first Party Arty in January 2016 as our first date as an official couple! The Chinese art collection is one of the finest collections in the West with more than 7,000 works from every phase of China’s artistic activity.

Power and Light District

13 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64106

This is within walking distance of the Hotel President. There are 13 restaurants and 19 bars available in the area along with live music some nights.
