AJ grew up here in Sandy, Utah and Sydney grew up in Northern Alabama. Never in their wildest dreams would they have thought their soulmate was across the country from one another. Both were always taught that there are not many evangelical Christians here in Utah and that "the odds of meeting another believer who is single is slim to none." Despite the discouraging environment, both Sydney and AJ always knew they wanted to get married and each stayed confident that the Lord would bring them their person. Both Sydney and AJ found themselves on a popular dating app called Bumble. They each "swiped right" on one another and began chatting on the app where they discovered they were both evangelical Christians. They soon had their first date, brunch at Pago, and talked for hours about Jesus and the challenges of living and ministry in Utah. From that day forward, they both knew this was something special and it was God's tender mercy in bring them together. Sydney says she's confident that she's never met a person that is seemingly more perfect for her, and AJ says that it is no doubt that Sydney is the love of his life. They both know that the only reason God has brought them together is because of their ability to bring God glory is greater together than it was individually. They are excited to take this next step together and anticipate God doing some cool things in and through their marriage!
