Love took the scenic route—join us in Texas Memorial Day Weekend 2026 as we celebrate a journey of friendship, culture, and forever

It all started in the summer of 2006 in Arlington, Texas, where we met and formed a friendship that quietly stood the test of time. Over the years, life took us in different directions, but each time Precious returned to Texas, we’d reconnect like no time had passed. Then came January 2019—a moment that changed everything. Precious was at the DFW airport, heading to Cancun for a girls’ trip, and AJ was en route to Arizona. A Facebook Live notification popped up—AJ was live from the same terminal. We reunited in that moment and haven’t missed a day of talking since. From there, our love story unfolded beautifully. We’ve traveled across the country together—Chicago, Miami, Arizona, Key West, Indiana, Virginia, Ohio, Missouri, and even a road trip from our home in Tulsa, Oklahoma to New York. But where we’ve felt most connected is in nature. We’ve hiked mountain trails in Arizona, Oklahoma, and Utah. We’ve kayaked through peaceful waters and snorkeled in the Florida Keys—where we once had an unforgettable encounter with a nurse shark. Whether it’s swimming in lakes or watching the sun set over a national park, being in nature is where our hearts feel most at peace—and where they truly became one. We also share a deep love for Liberian food, culture, and storytelling. With every adventure, every meal, and every quiet moment, we’ve built a love rooted in friendship, laughter, and discovery. Now, we’re ready to begin the greatest journey of all—marriage.
