Camping : there is a campground right by our venue on Big Lake. North Shore Campground

Boating & Jet skiing : Burkshore Marina is renting them out if you are interested in having some water fun during your stay!

RV rentals: Great Alaskan Holidays 

Hikes nearby (MatSu area): Hatcher's Pass, the Butte in Palmer, Eklutna (Twin Peaks), Eagle River area
Hikes in Anchorage: Peak 2, 3 or backside of Flattop (our faves) Bear Valley Ridge, McHugh, Little O'Malley Gully, Wolverine, Near Point, or anything in the Chugach Range is great!

If you are staying in Alaska and have time to drive around and visit places:
~Talkeenta, AK (2hours North from venue)
~Hatcher's Pass (45mins from Venue- good hikes and scenery, old mining area)
~Seward, AK (2hours South from Anchorage, ocean town, good hikes, food and scenery)
~Kenai, AK (2hours South of Anchorage-fishing town)
~Cooper Landing (1.5hours South of Anchorage) good fishing, hikes & brewery!
~Fairbanks, AK (5hours North of Venue- close to Denali)
