We highly recommend spending some time in downtown Excelsior on Friday before our welcome party at Pique Travel. Grab a drink, wander the shops, and enjoy a walk near Lake Minnetonka. - The Commons: Lovely place to relax, take in the lake views, or catch the sunset. - The Lobby Coffee & Leisure: Our go to spot to grab the best coffee- the iced cappuccino is a must - Maynard's: The most classic Excelsior meetup—perfect for drinks on the patio and taking in the lake views - Olive's Pizza: We are obsessed with Olive's pizza! Try the Fresno - Parlour: Known in MN for its iconic burgers and cocktails in a cozy setting - Lagos Tacos: Go to delicious Mexican food in the neighborhood - Excelsior Brewing Company: Fun and laid-back stop for local beer (Across the street from Pique) - Big debate over the best desert: Adele's Frozen Custard (Libby's pick) vs. Lick's Unlimited Ice Cream (AJ's pick) You can't go wrong with either!

If you're in Minneapolis, exploring the North Loop neighborhood is one of our favorite things to do! -Smack Shack: This was our first MN date spot and is perfect for seafood and lobster rolls with a fun vibe -Runyons: Known for it's classic award winning wings (our favorite!) -Hewing Hotel: A must for cocktails on the rooftop with a great view of the city
