FAQs

Juniper Point, Big Bear Lake CA
Question

What is a cocktail hour?

Answer

A cocktail hour is a roughly 120-minute social hour following our ceremony that allows guests to mingle with one another, have some refreshments, and spend some time with the couple.

Question

Will there be a meal provided?

Answer

We will be providing a wide spread of pastries, finger foods, and there will be a coffee bar present with other beverages available.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children and believe that all children should be exposed to what Biblical marriage looks like. We would be honored to have them to join us! Please take the time to add them to your RSVP, so no littles (or big boys and girls) go without food. Additionally, young babies that do not take up their own seats or plates have been intentionally omitted.

Question

What is garden attire?

Answer

We would love you to arrive in your favorite semi-formal spring wear. All sundresses, cocktail dresses, and other spring wear are welcome. We would love to see as much color as possible!

Question

Am I allotted a plus one or date?

Answer

If you are allotted a plus one, it will be specified on the invitation. If you believe someone has been missed, please reach out to the couple to clarify. Any additional guests must be accounted for before they are allowed to be present.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs will be taken up until May 20th, 2026. RSVP’s will not be accepted after this date due to vendor deadlines.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered in a few places, but all gifts and options can be processed through Zola, which can be found in the menu above. You may be navigated to specific company websites for certain items, but we have done the diligence to set that up well so items do not get lost. Easy peasy!

Question

Do I need to drink water?

Answer

YES! We're having a mountain ceremony, so while our flat-lander friends may be used to their climate, the altitude can cause you to dehydrate more quickly. There will be water provided for our guests. Please, then, drink up! We do not want anyone fainting due to lack of water; we will already have enough people doing that once the bride comes down the aisle :)

Question

When should I take photos?

Answer

We understand that you want to capture this moment with us, and we are so honored to share it with you. We ask that during the ceremony all phones be silenced, and that if you decide to record or take a photo, you remain seated. Thank you in advance.

Question

Parking

Answer

The parking lot will be a roughly 5-10 minute walk from the ceremony. Signage will direct you on the path to the venue.
